Southland Container
Southland Container is located in Flora, Mississippi in a historic manufacturing facility once owned by Magnavox, where they manufactured Television cabinets. The facility also once housed Singer, manufacturer of sewing machines. The facility is located in Kearney Park, near the site of a WWII munitions plant.
Southland Container bought the facility in 1976 and began manufacturing corrugated boxes and distributing packaging related materials to companies across the southeastern states.
Today, Southland Container is a southeastern warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment hub and continues to provide corrugated containers for all facets of industry. While many containers are stock, the facility also creates and provides custom and printed box designs for clients. The materials used can be heavy-duty to light-duty, and can also be waxed depending on the application.
The streamlined process at the plant allows Southland Container to be highly competitive in both quality and service, and provide a single location for integrated warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and packaging supplies.
Southland Container has secured its place in the Mississippi manufacturing community as a premiere supplier of corrugated products and packaging solutions and as a southeastern hub for warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment.
